I am the owner of 2 childcare centers, Smart Start Learning Center, Inc. in Illinois. We are licensed for 113 children at one center and 123 children at the other center. We serve many children that are low income and at risk of academic failure.

I also am a mom of college athletes. My kiddos swim at Valparaiso University in Indiana. They are a NCAA Division 1 school. My kids swim on the swim team. I volunteer to help organize special events for the team such as planning events and treats for the team's conference swim meet each year.
