I am a documentary filmmaker currently in production on VESTIBULE, a feature documentary/dance film about my journey with Vestibulodynia — a vulvovaginal disorder that made sex painful. What feels like a failure of my body becomes an invitation to advocate for myself in a society and medical system that so often dismisses women and people with vulvas. And what begins as a quest for pain-free sex becomes a multigenerational story about sexual health, pleasure, and bodily autonomy.
