Hello from the Rollins Family! As a busy momma of four I would love the opportunity to share my journey into holistic living with non toxic products after a devastating couple years and wanted to share a little bit about my why and how much these collaborations would mean to our family.
We purchased our little country farmhouse on our dream property in December of 2020 during the pandemic and spent many months pouring our heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears into every corner making it a home and doing most of the work ourselves and learning as we went. The more we shared we noticed our following start to grow in the most organic way and we have built such a beautiful community that we are truly so proud of and grateful for each connection we have made. We moved into our little old farmhouse in March 2021 even though we still had so much work to do but hadn't budgeted for the loss of work and the unexpected rising costs of building materials due to the pandemic. Our family of 5 shared one bathroom with only a bath tub and no shower for 2 years before we could afford to finish our bathroom and our 3 boys made the best of what we could provide for them. Then in 2022 we found out we were pregnant with our fourth child, a GIRL!!! Such an exciting time and we had so much love to give for this blessing. Our beautiful daughter was born on April 12, 2023. We weren't expecting our whole world come crashing down shortly after as we learned that she had a rare genetic condition which caused Juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia - among many other health complications, spending months at a time in hospital with her and in and out of so many appointments. She’s our little miracle girl and her strength and bravery has been truly incredible to witness. Last November she was rushed by ambulance and underwent emergency GI surgery where we spent a long and very emotional stay at the hospital, thankfully making it home just in time for Christmas with the family. We recently found out she also has some spinal deformities and Hypotonia and this is why she hasn't been able to walk or crawl but we remain hopeful that one day she will overcome these challenges.
Then shortly after her diagnosis our youngest of our 3 boys also received a rare diagnosis called Coats disease and has already had 6 surgeries to save his vision. It has been a whirlwind of emotions the past couple years and taking care of my skin has not been made a priority. As a new medical momma it has been nearly impossible to find time for myself but I would like to start with my skin! A little moment for mom to decompress and enjoy some much needed self care. It has become so important to us to be mindful of what we bring into our home and ensuring that it is non toxic and safe for our family to be around, especially for our little warrior girl as her immune system is so compromised and sensitive to any harmful ingredients and I don't want the worry as we snuggle cheek to cheek.
It has been a tough couple years on our family both mentally and financially and while it is never easy reaching out for help/donations we’ve found hope in having a platform where collaborations are made possible and it has been a huge blessing to our family. We have been so fortunate to have found some truly compassionate companies who have wanted to help on our journey.
We love creating genuine content and if you would be interested in doing a collab/donation and having us feature your company we would be so truly grateful to work with you!
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and we hope you will find us to be a good fit for your company.
Much love from a momma in need of a little self care. Chantel Rollins 🤎
