I am Sagal Buchanan SGA President at Bethune Cookman University and I am truly passionate about representing and uplifting the student body in every space I serve. I take great pride in advocating for student needs and ensuring that student voices are heard valued and reflected in the decisions and experiences that shape campus life. My goal is to help create a campus environment that is not only supportive and inclusive but also exciting engaging and full of opportunities for growth.

Through my leadership I focus on creating meaningful and high energy campus experiences that build school spirit strengthen student connection and support overall wellness and success. I enjoy developing and leading large scale initiatives and events that bring students together especially during high stress academic periods. These experiences are designed to help students relax recharge and feel supported while also fostering community pride and engagement across campus.

I am deeply committed to building strong partnerships between students organizations and external brands that share a passion for impact innovation wellness and student empowerment. I believe that collaboration is one of the most powerful tools in enhancing student life and I am always looking for creative ways to bring new resources experiences and opportunities to campus.

My work is centered around making sure students feel seen supported and celebrated. Whether it is through wellness events spirit activities or professional development opportunities I strive to create experiences that leave a lasting positive impact on students lives both inside and outside the classroom.

I am especially excited about opportunities to collaborate with sponsors who are aligned with these values and who genuinely care about investing in student success and well-being.
