Last year, I found myself stuck in a (horrible) corporate job, spending my other hours working out at the ridiculously elite institution that is Saints and Stars. Amidst some serious BBLs and LED lights, I couldn't help but chuckle internally at the fact that I had taken out a higher student loan just to afford Amsterdam's most pretentious gym.
Enter Lockerroom – a satirical yet aesthetically focused meme page that pokes fun at the gillenial lifestyle, young people trying to make it in life.
My audience is an aspirational elite, focusing on lifestyle, fashion, and sports. It's a space for those who appreciate a good joke as much as a well-curated Instagram feed with a witty twist. It is a place where I can blend my love for fitness with my knack for storytelling, and it resonates with people.
My following now stands at nearly 16k, however only 1-10% of my interaction and engagement comes from my followers, indicating that Lockerroom's content frequently reaches the explore page. Additionally, my ‘Impressions’ have consistently exceeded 2 million over the past six months.
