I’m Sakura, a Japanese-Canadian esthetics graduate, nail artist, and makeup lover building SaksPlace, a private home studio rooted in intention, creativity, and care.

My passion for beauty and makeup started young and evolved into a deeper love for artistry, self-expression, and learning to love yourself through the process. Over time, that passion grew into a purpose: helping people feel confident, comfortable, and seen. I specialize in Gel-X and soft builder gel, with a focus on nail health, clean application, and thoughtful design — while bringing my makeup background into how I approach balance, detail, and overall aesthetics.

I’m inspired by minimal Japanese design, soft luxury, and real human connection. Every service I offer is guided by patience, precision, and client-first values. To me, beauty isn’t just how something looks, it’s how it makes someone feel.

SaksPlace is more than a studio. It’s a space for growth, creativity, and self-care. Built slowly, intentionally, and with heart.

I’m still learning, evolving, and finding my rhythm, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I'm excited for what’s ahead.
