Hi! I’m Sam, founder of Trying to Adult RVA, a Richmond-based community focused on helping adults make real friendships through curated in-person experiences.

Over the past few years, I’ve built a highly engaged local audience through social events, lifestyle content, and community-driven experiences that bring people together in authentic ways. Our events range from large social mixers and themed experiences to interactive activities, food experiences, wellness events, and local adventures around Richmond.

I love partnering with brands that align with connection, fun, discovery, and enhancing the attendee experience. Through our events and social platforms, I create opportunities for attendees to organically engage with products in memorable, real-life settings. Partnerships can include gifted products, event activations, social media promotion, professional event photography, UGC-style content, and direct exposure to socially active Richmond adults.

My goal is always to create experiences people genuinely talk about after the event, and I’m excited to collaborate with brands that want to be part of that.
