The Pause Festival is an annual women’s empowerment, wellness, and community experience created by Baddie Besties, co-founded by best friends Samira Francois and Alyssa Silva. Built around the idea that women deserve space to pause, reset, reconnect, and step confidently into what’s next, The Pause brings together women from across New England for a day of inspiring conversations, movement, beauty, wellness, networking, shopping, and meaningful brand experiences.

Baddie Besties is a women-led media and community platform focused on sharing honest stories, celebrating ambition, and creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and inspired. Through our podcast, live events, partnerships, and community experiences, we connect women with conversations, brands, and opportunities that help them grow personally and professionally.

The Pause Festival is our largest annual experience, welcoming a highly engaged audience of women including professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, founders, students, healthcare professionals, executives, influencers, and emerging leaders.
