My name is Sara, and I am the coordinator of the Sunshine Club at P.S. 156 The Waverly School of the Arts, an elementary school in Brownsville, Brooklyn.
The Sunshine Club is a new initiative dedicated to celebrating, encouraging, and supporting the teachers and staff who make our school community shine. Through small acts of kindness and appreciation throughout the year, we strive to remind our educators how valued they are.
