Save a Child’s Heart at the University of Missouri is a student-led nonprofit organization on campus dedicated to supporting the lifesaving work of the international organization Save a Child’s Heart. Our philanthropy focuses on raising funds and awareness for children suffering from congenital and acquired heart disease so they can receive critical, lifesaving heart surgeries regardless of race, religion, nationality, gender, or financial status. In addition to fundraising, we host educational events, service-based workshops, and hands-on activities that allow members to actively contribute to our mission while learning about global health disparities and pediatric cardiac care.
