As I head into my very last semester of college I was asked to return as a mentor for incoming freshman students this fall. I will be working with roughly 30 first year students from August- December. In this role I have created Mini- Lessons of things I wished I had known early on. These lessons include topics like the cost of missing class, how to budget your time effectively, how to get organized, and more.

This year I wanted to add what I am calling a Care Cart. This cart will include snacks and hygiene products for students to help themselves to when I am in class with them. Many of these students are commuting, working full time, or overall just trying to get by. My hope with this cart is to help them in small ways and build connections that last.
