Hi, I’m Shae, Founder of Black Women of Charleston and BWC Events.

What started as a simple desire to create genuine connection has grown into a thriving community of over 5,000 women across the Charleston area. Black Women of Charleston is built on sisterhood, shared experiences, and curated events that bring women together in meaningful and memorable ways.

Through BWC Events, I design elevated, well-organized experiences ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale events with 100+ attendees. Each event is intentionally created to foster connection while highlighting quality, ambiance, and thoughtful details.

We pride ourselves on supporting and amplifying brands that align with our values of community, authenticity, and elevated experiences. Our audience is highly engaged, socially active, and values discovering new products, especially those that enhance lifestyle, wellness, and social experiences.
