I am Sidney Church, a student affairs professional, University of Tennessee at Martin alumna, and current PhD student with a deep commitment to service, leadership, and community care. My work is grounded in empathy and shaped by lived experience, particularly the loss of my father to cancer.

In his honor, I founded the Chemo Care Kit initiative to support individuals undergoing chemotherapy. To date, I have assembled and distributed 156 chemo care kits to patients across West and Middle Tennessee. Each kit is thoughtfully curated to provide comfort, encouragement, and practical support during treatment. Over the past year, I intentionally increased both the number of kits distributed and the overall value of each kit, expanding the reach and impact of the initiative while maintaining its heart-centered mission.

What began as a personal act of healing has grown into an evolving effort focused on meeting real needs with care and dignity. I am continually seeking ways to strengthen the initiative through meaningful partnerships, higher-quality items, and greater accessibility for patients navigating a difficult season.
