Street Dog Hero is a foster-based animal rescue headquartered in Bend, Oregon. If you've ever been on vacation and watched a stray dog work a restaurant patio for scraps, or scrolled past a shelter plea for a dog hours from euthanasia, you've seen the problem we exist to solve. Since 2017, we've rescued 4,300+ animals and funded 13,000+ low- or no-cost spay/neuter surgeries, addressing both the animals in crisis and the conditions that create them. This year marks our 7th annual 5k/10k fundraiser.
