TED is an organization that hosts a bi-yearly conference with leaders from around the world who present talks about topics that drive them, which are recorded during a live event and made available online for free for millions of viewers to be inspired, learn, spread ideas, and affect change.

TEDxFoggyBottom is a local version of the TED conference that’s organized independently and entirely by students at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Every year, we plan a day-long event at Betts Auditorium featuring speakers from government, technology, entertainment, and more so that the people in our community have the opportunity to dream, discuss, and network with them — and with one another.
