The Brothers Hunt
The Brothers Hunt also known as Dan and Reid Isbell—professional Nashville hit songwriters, lifelong outdoorsmen, and proof that you can turn getting muddy as a kid into a real career. Their #1 country music podcast lives at the intersection of country music and the great outdoors, where hit songs, deer stories, and questionable decisions are all fair game.
Raised in the white oak hollers of Tennessee, Dan and Reid spent their youth chasing whitetails and turkeys by day and playing guitars after dark. They later moved to Nashville, lived on a boat for five years (because rent is expensive and priorities were… flexible), and they worked their way into professional songwriting careers. The money wasn’t great, but it was enough to keep gas in the tank and arrows in the quiver while they chased elk, antelope, and mule deer across the country.
Between hunts, the brothers have written songs recorded by Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Darius Rucker, John Pardi, Gabby Barrett, ERNEST, Justin Moore, Scotty McCreery, and plenty more—highlighted by a recent #1 hit, “The Kind of Love We Make,” with Luke Combs. These days, Dan and Reid live near Nashville, raising young families, writing songs, recording the podcast, and checking off honey-do lists to head out west for hunting trips when they can.
