Von (she/her) is a multi-faceted disruptor and the first artist to make music from her own orgasm wave patterns. Her work dissects catholic guilt, sexist stereotypes and queer performance theory. Von is the founder of BLOODY MARY, currently a professor at NYU and a staple performer/DJ in NYC's queer underground.
Von’s BLOODY MARY is the first performance art series to merge talents from sex workers with dj sets, blood play vignettes and exhibition style boxing. Von’s BLOODY MARY has included artists like Pussy Riot, UNIIQU3, DOSS, Virgen Maria, DeathbyRomy, Cookiee Kawaii and La Goony Chonga. Interspersed between Von's large scale events are intimate activations for core community members to interact with other collectives, mediums & conceptual presentations of the music they hear at the show.
