hi there! we’re Women in Computer Science (WiCS) — a passionate, supportive community of women and gender minorities in tech at WPI 🤍 our goal is simple: to create a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and celebrated while exploring their love for computing and innovation ✨

throughout the year, we host everything from networking nights and career panels to coding workshops, study sessions, and social mixers (think cookies, laughter, and debugging together 🍪💻). one of our proudest traditions is attending the Grace Hopper Celebration, where our members get to meet inspiring women in tech, connect with companies, and dream big about their future 💫

this year, our club has faced significant budget cuts, which have made it harder to fund travel, provide event materials, and host the professional development opportunities that help our members grow 😔💔 that’s why we’re so grateful for our Dell Technologies sponsorship and are hoping to expand our partnerships with more brands that believe in empowering young women in STEM 💪🌷
