Dear OSEA Team,

My name is Zahwa Ezzelden, and I’m writing to you from Reston, Virginia. I’m 27 years old (born on February 16, 1998), Nubian Egyptian, and recently got engaged to the love of my life, Azhaan Khattak. We are planning to get married in the summer of 2026, and as I prepare for this beautiful new chapter, I’m reaching out to see if you’d be open to being part of our journey in a very meaningful way.

I was raised by my incredible single mother, Hanan Ahmed (born 01-07-1971), alongside my five strong, beautiful sisters in a household that radiates girl power, unity, and love. My family is my heart—and my best friends. I'm blessed to have a circle of women who have stood by me for over a decade, and I want to honor them in the most heartfelt way.

I’m currently putting together personalized proposal boxes to ask my sisters and closest friends to be my bridesmaids—and I want nothing more than to fill these boxes with items that reflect their worth, beauty, and individuality. Hassan Abdallah (04/02/2013) – My nephew and joyful ring bearer.

Abdelrahman "Ebby" Abdallah (02/22/2014) – My beloved nephew who uses a wheelchair and will be a ring bearer, always inspiring us.

Kareem "Kemo" Abdallah (10/04/2022) – The newest joy in our lives and ring bearer.
