How Do I Create an Event?

Updated Sep 30, 2026

Go to Events and click New event. On your phone, tap +. If you have no events yet, click Create your first event.

The event form then asks about:

  1. Your event type. Pick the one that fits best.
  2. What else describes it, including how you'll feature the brand's product.
  3. When and where it happens: the date, the time of day and the venue address.
  4. Your event's name.
  5. A poster. This is optional, so you can skip it.
  6. A description of the experience, at least 80 characters long.
  7. Who's coming: how many people, their age groups and the gender mix.

When you're done, click Publish event. Then invite brands: open the brands you'd like at your event and send each one a request. Your event needs a venue address. You add your shipping address, where the products should go, when you send a brand a request. The two can be different.

Already listed your event on Eventbrite, Luma or Partiful? On the first screen, choose Import it.

Need to stop halfway? Close the form and choose Save draft.

To change or cancel your event later, see Can I Edit My Event? and Can I Delete My Event?.
