How Do I Get Free Products?

Updated Oct 15, 2026

There's no form to request free samples. On onbrand there are two ways to get products:

  • Hosts apply to brands for an event they're hosting.
  • Creators apply for a partnership with a brand. No event is needed.

The products and shipping are free: you don't pay onbrand or the brand.

If you're hosting an event:

  1. Create an account at https://www.onbrand.com/auth/register/ and choose I host events.
  2. List your event: go to Events, click New event, and add the event type, dates, address and how many guests you expect.
  3. Open the brands you'd like at your event and send each one a request for that event.
  4. If a brand accepts, it ships the product to you for your event.
  5. After the event, complete verification: upload photos or videos, then answer a few quick questions. See What Is Verification?.

If you're a creator:

  1. Start from the brand's own onbrand page (onbrand.com/brand/ followed by the brand's name) and choose Creator to sign up. Only brands that accept creators show this option.
  2. Connect at least one active social account.
  3. Click Apply for partnership > General partnership > Apply, enter your shipping address, and click Submit partnership proposal.
  4. If the brand accepts (your request shows Scheduled), it ships the product to the address on your request.
  5. As a creator, you apply to brands for your content. Once your order is delivered, your recap opens. Send your photos and answer the brand's questions in the app. See What Is Verification?.

Brands decide who they work with, so not every request gets a yes. Hosts can apply to several brands for the same event. Creators can have one open request per brand and can reapply 60 days after a decline. For tips, see What Makes a Strong Request?.
