Brands choose events they can picture their product at. A strong request makes that easy:
- Describe the moment. In your event's name and description, say what you're celebrating and who's coming. "Sarah's bridal shower, 25 guests, backyard brunch" tells a brand more than "party".
- Give an accurate guest count. Brands plan by date and quantity.
- Say why this brand fits. Use the Additional notes box in your request for one line on how your guests would use the product.
- Apply early. Brands need time to ship. In most cases, you can't send a request for an event that ends within the next 7 days.
- Apply to several brands for the same event.
- Keep your verifications up to date. Photos still missing 14 days after your event ends block new requests. See Why are my applications paused?.
If you're a creator
- Connect the account you post on most. Brands look at your social account to picture how you'd show their product. You need at least one active account connected before you can apply.
- Say how you'd use the product. In your proposal, write one sentence on the content you'd make and who sees it, e.g. "A get-ready-with-me reel for my 12K followers who are mostly new moms."
- Pick brands that fit what you post. A brand that matches your content is more likely to reply.
- Use the right address. The product ships to the address on your request, so check it before you submit.
- One open request per brand. Wait for a reply before applying to the same brand again. After a decline you can reapply in 60 days.
- Keep your verifications up to date. Photos still missing 14 days after your last delivery block new requests.
